Lightspeed Draws Strong Interest at Motorcycle Live

The production Lightspeed has completed its first public appearance at Motorcycle Live following its private reveal at Gunhill Studios earlier in the month. It was the first chance for riders, collectors and press to see the finished motorcycle up close, meet the team and explore the engineering behind the nextchapter of the brand.

Across the nine days of the show, the Lightspeed drew steady attention from visitors and media. Many spent time with the design and engineering team, capturing photography and video and learning more about how the motorcycle has moved from concept to production.The interest reflects the momentum building around Lightspeed as we head towards the first customer builds.

The production model delivers 185 horsepower from a 1,190cc liquid cooled V Twin and weighs just 185kg, giving a power to weight ratio of 1000bhp per tonne. It features a handcrafted high tensile steel space frame, carbon fibre bodywork, Öhlins suspension and a HEL Performance braking system. Langen’s in house electronics package includes traction, cruise, launch and wheelie control. Wherever possible, components are produced or machined locally to continue our commitment to British craft and precision.

Lightspeed has been designed as a high performance road bike with long distance comfort and the handling of a sports machine. The styling carries forward the brand’s signature proportion and detail while introducing a modern edge and expanded usability.

Each motorcycleis built to order. Customers are invited to the Langen workshop in Wigan to choose paint, finish and detailing. A £1,000 deposit secures a build slot. UK specification production begins in Summer 2026, with fully homologated versions for the USA, Japan, Middle East, Europe and Australasia following in January 2027.

The reception at Motorcycle Live marks an important step in the launch of Lightspeed and sets the tone for the next stage of activity, which will include press previews, customer events and ongoing workshop updates as production progresses.
